How to add fonts on MacsHere are the instructions to add fonts to your Mac session:
1. First of all, you need to connect to the Classroom server. Make sure that the Finder program is active, then click on Go > Connect to Server...
2. Next, enter classroom.scf.oregonstate.edu into the Server Address box and click Connect.
3. Input your ONID user name and password into their respective fields and click Connect.
4. Click OK in order to complete the connection to the Classroom folder.
5. Open the ArtFonts folder in order to select the fonts you will be using. Note: Some folders inside do not copy correctly, so trying to drag the entire ArtFonts folder to your computer will cause an error.
6. Select any of the fonts you will need and drag their folders to your desktop.
7. Open up Extensis Suitcase X1, which can be found in the Graphics portion of the Applications folder.
8. Drag the font folder(s) that you have copied to your desktop in step 6 and drag them to the Sets box in Suitcase. This will add all the fonts in that folder to the system fonts.
9. Now you should have access to your fonts! Some programs will have to be restarted in order for the new fonts to be accessible. Also, Suitcase must be open for the entire time you want to use the new fonts, and this process will last only as long as your session. It must be repeated each time you log on in order to use the new fonts.
