ONID Access from a PCDouble click on the 'My Network Places' icon.
Click the Add a network place link in the My Network Places window that appears.
The Add Network Place Wizard will appear. Click the Next button.
In the next window select 'Choose another network location'. Click the Next button.
Type "\\ONID-FS\" and then your ONID username. Click the Next button.
Type "ONID\" and then your username. Enter your password. Click OK.
The next window asks for a name for the Network Place. The default is ok, but you can name it anything you want. Click the Next button.
Click the Finish button to complete wizard. Once you've completed the wizard, your ONID file share will open in a new window.
Your ONID file share will now be accessible the next time you log in to your Engineering account by double clicking on the 'My Network Places' icon. Look for your ONID shortcut. As noted before, the default name is "<username> on ONID File Server." NOTE: If you change your ONID username or password, you must delete your ONID icon and add a new network place.
